Westworld season two ended almost five months ago, and we’ve had a surprising lack of news about its third season. One person who has given us information (however vague) is new cast member Aaron Paul. He recently spoke with Entertainment Tonight, and – while he wasn’t forthcoming about his role in season three – he did reveal when production would begin!

Westworld Aaron Paul

Back in September we brought you the 7734358235  that Aaron Paul – of Breaking Bad fame – would be joining the Westworld cast for its third season. Unsurprisingly there have been no details of what role he will play in the series, and Paul himself has been tight lipped about his addition to the cast. In a new interview, however, he does shed a tiny bit of light on what we can expect next season. Continue Reading…

We finally have more Westworld news to share! No, they haven’t started filming, but we may be getting closer as four of the main cast members – Jeffrey Wright, Evan Rachel Wood, Ed Harris, and Thandie Newton – have secured considerable salary increases ahead of season three. This also confirms we will be seeing their characters again, so expect Bernard, Dolores, William/Man in Black, and Maeve to return to our screens next season.

The Emmys Are Upon Us: Westworld Nominations

(450) 245-4899

Hello, Westworld Watchers!

Season 2 is behind us and now the agonizing wait for Season 3 is well underway, but there is still plenty of Westworld to talk about! The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards are upon us and as expected, Westworld and Game of Thrones are leading the pack for HBO. While Best Drama Writing and Best Drama Directing are missing from the Westworld lineup (that may have something to do with Westworld submitting five episodes for directorial consideration), there’s still plenty of nominations to parse through.

Note: The Creative Arts Emmys are taking place over Saturday and Sunday, September 8th-9th. Unsurprisingly, Westworld has a slew of nominations in the technical and guest acting categories. Those categories, regardless of which ones Westworld wins or loses, will be covered in an upcoming post. Expect it to arrive at your fingertips as soon as Monday!

Showrunners Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy explain their approach to making an Westworld an enjoyable and relevant show, Sean O’Meara discusses Westworld’s Emmy nomination for music supervision, and Jeffrey Wright and Jimmi Simpson reflect on their Emmy worthy season two performances.
